PictureMap of Enik Veem by M. Addison McEwan
Just finished drawing the Map of Enik Veem, the location and setting of Book Four of the Professor's Nephew, The Spout of Tamewater.. Whereas the Crystal Claw had a Nordic theme and the Golden Ashes had a Middle Eastern theme, the setting of Enik Veem will be Gaelic.

Lake Dragkosvete dominates the clandom and its map as you can see with four of its fishing centers spaced out along its shore. you can see the Dungeon Islands and the Isle of Cyllias Ey'e sprouting out from the dismal lake in the middle.

I am excited to announce that the third book in the Professor's Nephew Series, The Golden Ashes is now available and will soon be ready to purchase through online retailers, such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as local bookstores.

The book was a lot of fun to write, and in my own opinion has much more adventure and twists than the previous two books in the series. I really enjoyed writing about the characters of Braston von Bruett and Etrio Speetch.

I will be planning a book launch and signing event sometime in May, and all of my fans are invited.

I was feeling creative this afternoon on the computer and drafted this floorplan of the Gustavor Building penthouse. Previously I had just sketched it onto some graph paper to help me with my stories but as I glanced at it this morning I thought, "hey, that would be cool if I could make it look a little more professional." So here it is!

I am excited to have an official Professor's Nephew journal available for the first time. I grew up constantly writing and drawing in blank books and journals and to now have one based on my Professor's Nephew Series is pretty thrilling.

Have you ever wanted to record your discoveries like Rylen, the Gustavor Museum's Director of Archives? Or, perhaps wanted to take notes or make lists of ideas and projects the way Havenrose Courtier, the museum's elevator attendant enjoys? Well now you can in the Professor's Nephew Journal: The official Archives. It is a 100 page lined journal with a few maps and drawings by M. Addison McEwan. The Professor's Nephew Journal is now available for purchase online at Blurb. Please check out the preview below:

Book Covers Redesigned

The covers for the Professor's Nephew Series Books One and Two, The Rock of Iris and The Crystal Claw have been recently redesigned. They each now have a more personal tone that takes on the story and character elements on their own. Future books, starting with Book Three: The Golden Ashes (available by December, 2013) will also have the same design, albeit with different front cover pictures and text colors. The spines of each book will be a different color as well, to resemble the colorful persona of the crafty Prince Gustavor. Please visit Amazon.com or Lulu Press to order your newly redesigned Professor's Nephew book.

The Professor's Nephew Trading Card Game was recently featured on the main page for Bestselling New and Exciting Games on the TGC Website (click here). It was alot of fun creating the trading game and I think I will be working on adding some more low-level characters from the Professor's Nephew Series to the trading card game over the winter.
